I wanted to order a trumpet vine at a reasonable price, most sites were sold out but Tractor Supply had them in stock so I ordered one. First I checked their return policy and it said 30 days with receipt, I could return to any store for an instant refund or exchange.
See, the plant is bare root and just in case it didn't grow when I planted it I wanted to see if I could return it and how long I had.
So, I figured I should know within 30 days if it's going to at least grow a little, put up some little leaves or something so I placed my order.
As soon as my order went through a little note popped up on the screen that said 'non-refundable.'
How underhanded. They make you think you can refund whatever -anything, but only after you buy the stinking thing they have the nerve to tell you it's not refundable.
I don't know if it will grow or be dead once i get it but I don't appreciated their sneaky dealings. Very deceptive.

I ordered some slippers from this company, and the shipping was free, and when they didn't fit, the return shipping was free too. Very nice! Unfortunately, after they received the return it took three weeks and several inquiries from me before they actually refunded my money.
This company is the worst of the worst. Its like horse s^@t . I ordered a kayak for curbside pick up and the website said available. I pay with my card checkout and 40 minutes later I get an email saying " your order has been cancelled". I call and get nothing. I go into the store and say" here to pick up my kayak ". And a huntched dehydrated gool type character with a straw hat that claims to be the manager says " well we dont have any kayaks" I show him the website and it says they have all these wonderful kayaks in stock. He brings me out to the area where they ussually keep the boats and is empty. Click bait or card fishing what ever yku want to call it. They will take the money out and cancel . Now the bad thing is not that they dont return the money , the bad thing is that that day if you want to go look somewhere else you are short that amount because it can take up to a week for that money to show back up in the account . So lets say you just want to buy a different model at TSupply( I dont know who will keep doing bussiness after this) you cant use that money you have to shell out another amount than what they just cancelled. So my advice . Run from pathetic looser of a company.
The dog food was stale, the dog toys didn't last 24 hours and THEN I find out on my receipt the store in zip code 36619 is charging customers 10% tax rate when our tax here is 8% since we are outside of the city limits. WHAT are they doing with all the extra money on tax collections they don't have to pay in their zip code 36619. Crooks. Amazon charges 8% so there is no excuse for this. I will have my items delivered free with Amazon at an 8% tax rate.
I bought a patio cooler from the Hammond, La. store. When we got it home, we noticed two large dents on the lid. I made numerous calls to the store and to customer solutions. All I wanted was a new lid. After more calls, I was told that I could exchange it for a new cooler from the Raceland, La. store. The store had it, but again the lid was dented. We talked about a raincheck where they order and I come exchange for the new one. After being put on hold, we could not raincheck the item. Bottom line, I would have to order & PAY for a new one, come pick it up and exchange for the damaged one. This company does not stand behind their products. Had we ordered any product from a Home Depot or Lowe's we would not have had to go through this. Terrible!
I bought an Earthquake Cultivator with 43cc Viper Engine, MC43 from tractor supply in Bentonville Ar. to till up three established flower gardens. I made it through two beds and the tiller died. I tried for two weeks to get it restarted with no success.
I called the store to see about returning the tiller and was told to bring it back and would receive a full refund. True to their word the return transaction went off without a hitch, thank you Tractor Supply.

Store in Oakhurst Calif
Went to the store for the first time last week. What a beautiful store and everyone was beyond friendly. We checked out the inventory and walked around and then went home buying only minimal items because I wanted to check and compare prices with competitors.
We returned last night to order a chicken coop and the pen and accessories. Chickens are something totally new for us. So, I want to thank the super nice girl with the dreds (I cannot remember her name) but she was super nice, friendly and helpful until she had to leave and she set me up with Dan. I think he was the manager.
Hats off to his customer service. He spent 20 minutes just talking to us about the chickens and items we would need and fencing etc etc. Gave us so much knowledge and information. He gave us the TLC you would only get from a local store up here in the mountains. You would not get that time and attention in Fresno.
After all the suggestions, rain check and items we bought, that time he spent with us made the whole experience amazing.
Keep up the moral, the friendliness and the cleanliness and you will be my go to store up here.
I purchased a Mighty Mule gate opener with the Power Plus protection plan which are both garbage and a rip off. Save your money and buy somewhere else. My gate opener was damaged due to a wind storm and they both said that was not covered. Well why sell the So called Power Protection plan. I have been in customer service for over 30 years and that is not the way I conduct business or treat a customer. Be aware, these products are garbage and a ripoff.

Only giving one star because it’s required to write a review! Bought a Pelpro PP 130 pellet stove on line and waited 6 weeks for delivery. It was delivered destroyed in freight, forklift fork through it. Ordered a replacement, waited another 5/6 weeks and it too was demolished in shipping. Ordered a third unit to be shipped to the closest store an hour away. Looked fine cosmetically, brought it home, put it in and immediately started having problems. Various malfunctions, the door never sealed causing s bad burn and the door handle latch broke, a tiny #10 shoulder bolt. It was never going to last. Emailed for warranty parts and was told I’d be contacted within 48 hrs. Never happened. Calle numerous times and finally got a human and told him I needed a warranty door handle kit. Told I would get an emulator confirmation/tracking number later that day. NEVER happened. Called again and the lady said I should have received the parts, than discovered the parts were actually on back order. Again called Tractor Supply for another replacement. Told there would be an email with conf. and tracking. NEVER happened. Called back numerous times and got the run around. I’m frustrated with a stove that won’t work. I call TS Customer Service yet again and finally this nice lady tells me, “I see the problem. You didn’t pay for the stove.” She explained that they had not only refunded the delivery charges which we talked about but also refunded the cost of the stove unbeknownst to me. Inspected it at the store, they loaded it in my truck, had me sign a pickup slip and I went home, when they were supposed to collect for the stove. I was so done with all this run around that I told them to arrange to have it picked up since I hadn’t paid for it, didn’t own it! The truck driver called me yesterday after I spent an hour and a half plowing snow so he could get in and he asked me what kind of paperwork I had. I told him none, didn’t he have it? He said no and that he couldn’t pick it up without paperwork. So here we sit after ANOTHER mistake with a stove in the way in my shop. I write a review a few days ago just like this before the pickup mistake and TS said they wouldn’t publish it, censorship of a factual story. Bottom line, I won’t ever do business with TS again after this. Their vendor has no tech support or customer service nor does TS, save one lady at TS, S!!!!!!, who was the ONLY person to help.
It took forever to place the order - it takes minutes for every page to load. When done, got an email "thank you blah blah blah". A few minutes later, got another email "Your order have been cancelled" with no explanations.
Called them, pushed endless buttons just to be told that the item is not available...
I drove 45 miles 1 way. Orderes a gun safe online. It was brought to my vehicle. I drove home only to find out the key dont work. Called the store. The number on the key dont match the number located on the back of the safe. This is total incompetence. I told the manger to mail me the correct key. His reply i have to locate them. Unbelievable
